These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ice Study mobile application and the website at icestudy.app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service.
Ice Study is a study timer that visualizes focus time as a melting cup of ice. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
The Service does not require an account. Any data you create is stored on your device.

The mobile app may display advertising provided by Google AdMob. Your interaction with advertisements is governed by the applicable ad network’s terms. Ads help keep Ice Study free.
Ice Study, including its name, logo, ice-cup animation, and accompanying source code and assets, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service as intended.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ICE STUDY OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted.
If you installed the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store’s terms also apply. In the event of conflict, the store’s terms control with respect to the distribution and installation of the app.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may discontinue or restrict the Service, or terminate these Terms, if you materially breach them or if required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
